How We Met

A Love Story

Ava and James engagement photo

What began as a simple introduction quickly felt like something special. From our very first conversation, things were easy, warm, and full of laughter. We found a shared love of travel, long dinners, and slow Sunday mornings with nowhere to be.

For our first date, James planned the whole evening around my favorite meal. We went looking for dessert afterward and ended up talking for hours on a park bench, completely losing track of time.

More dates followed: long walks, antique shopping, brunches that turned into margaritas, and conversations that never seemed to end. We were smitten.

The years that followed only deepened our story, meeting each other's families, weekend getaways, and quiet nights in that we wouldn't trade for the world.

Four years after that first date, in a room filled with rose petals, James asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Through very happy tears, I said yes. We can't wait to celebrate our love with the people we cherish most this November.
